Since our founding in 1956, Kuang Chuan has been synonymous with boundless product innovation. When we established our factory in Dayuan District, Taoyuan City (formerly Dayuan Township, Taoyuan County) in 1980, we created our Product Research Department. We subsequently expanded multiple times to meet market demands, establishing our R&D Center in 2005, and in 2009, merging with our Marketing Department to form the Marketing and R&D Division, dedicated to pioneering product development and shaping food industry trends. Kuang Chuan's exceptional performance across dairy, beverage, and food sectors is recognized by both industry peers and consumers. Each successful new product launch demonstrates our leadership's keen understanding of market dynamics and our R&D team's exceptional capabilities.
Our R&D department attracts top food industry technology professionals. With comprehensive equipment and financial support, and guided by our management philosophy and market insights, we continuously develop highly acclaimed innovative products while setting industry trends and building Kuang Chuan's competitive advantage. In 1985, we expanded from dairy into fruit juice beverages; in 1986, Kuang Chuan pioneered 375ml aseptically packaged floral tea series, becoming the originator of floral tea beverages, creating market excitement and establishing our position in the beverage industry. Kuang Chuan Jasmine Honey Tea remains beloved throughout Taiwan today.
To deliver more creative, healthy, and refined premium lifestyle experiences to consumers, our R&D department has developed numerous new products and applications, such as our innovative Crystal Classic Dessert Jelly with novel flavors that achieved market leadership in the jelly category. In 1997, we launched "Cup-packaged Grain Milk," featuring a dual-cup design that combines grain nutrition with fresh milk's pure richness, providing convenient health benefits anywhere, anytime—a product that remains widely popular with consumers today. The following year, we introduced Crystal Ball Yogurt utilizing innovative crystal ball technology for enhanced yogurt functionality, immediately winning consumer favor upon launch. Recognizing the bitter taste profiles of existing tea products, we actively developed our patented cold-brew tea offerings, successfully establishing our presence in the highly competitive tea beverage market.
